Hang up. Look up the number yourself. Wait a day.

Printables

Free. Print as many as you like. Put your own organization's name on them. You don't need to ask us.

The fridge sheet

One page. 18-point type. The three steps, the three signs, the payment red flags, and the two helplines.

Made to be taped to a refrigerator, or kept next to the computer — not filed in a drawer. Those are the places someone will actually be standing when the phone rings or a scary popup fills the screen.

Available in 24 languages: English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Russian, Korean, Tagalog, Hindi, Bengali, Armenian, Amharic, Albanian, Japanese, Arabic, Urdu, Farsi, Pashto, German, French, Portuguese, Polish, Romanian, Ukrainian, and Indonesian.

Only the English version is validated and ready to print. The rest are AI translations that no native speaker has checked yet. They carry a warning band saying so, in their own language — you'll need to get one validated by a native speaker before handing it out. If you can help and want to contribute, please help us check one.

The wallet card

Small enough for a wallet or to sit by the phone. Three steps on the front, the two helplines on the back.

Prints eight to a page. Cut and hand out at the end of a talk.

Available in 13 languages so far, with the rest on the way — again, only the English card is validated. The others carry the same warning line.

Adding your own front desk number

If you run a facility, a version with a blank space for your own front desk number, logo, or local police contact is genuinely useful — a resident who can walk twenty feet to ask a person is far better protected than one who has to call a national hotline.

We don't publish that file for open download. An editable copy still carrying this project's name is exactly the kind of thing someone could quietly alter and pass off as official — a real risk on a fraud-prevention site of all places. Email [email protected] and we'll send it to you directly.

For running your own session

Scripts, a slide deck, and practical delivery notes for giving this talk yourself — no expertise required. See all of it here.

For sending to family

Short, ready-to-paste text messages and emails. Written to sound like a person, not a pamphlet — so you can send one to your mother without it feeling like a warning notice.

Printing notes

Copying and changing it

All of it is free to reuse, in any format, including commercially and including under your own name. Translate it. Rewrite it. Cut it down. Put your logo on it.

The only thing we'd ask — not a condition, just a request — is that if you change the advice itself, check it against the FBI and FTC guidance first, so nobody ends up with a refrigerator sheet that tells them something wrong.

Go ahead

You don't need our permission, our name, or our approval. Print what's useful, change what isn't, and hand it to whoever needs it.

Every sheet that ends up on a refrigerator is one more household where somebody hangs up and calls back. That's the whole thing.
